Our network was started by two moms, Amanda Hamer and Dianna Hansen, after their girls were born with Down syndrome just eight days apart in 2003.  In 2004 we began meeting as a group of three families at the Alyce Hatch Center.  In 2007 with a renewed effort, we grew into a network of families and plan to continue growing, educating, and providing resources.
