Youth ages 14-26, join us as we visit the The Bend Endurance Academy for its first ever All Abilities Climb Night.

This event focuses on creating space for individual of all abilities in an inclusive and supportive manner, and takes place on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 6-9 PM at 222 SE Reed Market Rd, Bend.  Cost: $10.00 per person (covers both entry and shoe rental).

Explore how to build a One Page Profile geared to the medical, dental, or therapy setting. Help to support a positive relationship with your child’s health care providers and other clinical staff members.

Central Oregon Disability Support Network (CODSN) and High Desert Education Service District (HDESD) are collaborating to host an Early Childhood Family Resource Night on Thursday, October 10th from 4 – 6 pm. Come enjoy a light dinner and a night full of fun and resources!

CODSN’s Sensory Friendly Pumpkin Patch at Schilling’s Garden Market is back again this year! Join us on October 13th from 9-10am at Schilling’s Garden Market before the gates open up to the general public for a quiet and inclusive hour to pick out some fall goodies, visit with some farm animals, enjoy a small corn maze, and connect with other families!

Join us in Lake County for the Special Education 101 Workshop in person training on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM at Daly Middle School (906 S. Third Street, Lakeview).  At this engaging and important workshop, you will learn all about Special Education services as outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) for students K-21 years old.  Gain tips and tools on how to be a part of your child’s Special Education team and for the Special Education process. You will also have the opportunity to ask local teachers about your documents including transition planning for students age 16 to 21.

Presented by our own Jenny Cavarno, this workshop is brought to you by High Desert Education Service, CODSN, Lake County, Take Root, Adam Young Construction Repair and Remodel.  Child care and light lunch will be provided.

Our Jason’s Run & Recharge Program Family Respite Night is back on Tuesday, November 12th from 5-8pm at River Run Lodge in Eagle Crest! That’s right, our Family Respite Night has been extended an extra hour to give the kids and their families more time to recharge! The kids will enjoy a safe environment with tons of fun activities while their caregivers receive up to $100 in gift cards to enjoy a nice meal, a few holes of golf, or a relaxing walk around Eagle Crest!
